Nose

Immediately enticing: lots of dried fruit like apricots and peach rings, then some red apple skins and honey.

Palate

Surprisingly approachable for the ABV with lots of creamy toffee, some fleshy orchard fruits, and a dash of black liquorice at the end.

Finish

Long and warming with a deep sweetness and a touch of spice.

Comment

A really classy and rich whisky with a lot going on.
