Nose

Floor polish and wax to start, with nice red fruit notes lingering in the background — dried cherries and freeze-dried raspberries. A touch of caramel and orange too.

Palate

To start, toasted coconut and some caramel, then some hazelnuts before the heat comes through in the form of nutmeg spice. With water, there’s a bit of bitterness and more raisins.

Finish

Not as long as I’d have expected — drops off quite quickly.

A really inviting nose but I wanted more from the palate.
