Nose
Lively and enticing: soft peppers, citrus and oak. Superb.
Palate
Surprisingly oily for a triple-distilled malt. Mouthwateringly fresh barley and a superb crisp, slightly sweet malt-chocolate interplay - like a Malteser candy.
Finish
A sweet malt glow.
Comment
A highly sophisticated dram. Intensely malty. Has improved enormously over the last few years.
