Nose

Rich, woodsy notes to start, some resinous oak, baked sultanas, toasted almonds, and banana bread.

Palate

Fairly dark notes of treacle, liquorice, malted loaf sit alongside cherries, dark chocolate, and orange zest.

Finish

A nice dark toffee note to finish, almost syrupy.

Comment

A little cocktail in a glass — lots going on here and very well balanced.
