Nose

Full bouquet of lilies, gorse flowers and aloe vera with hints of mango sorbet and barbequed lime slices. Irn Bru bars, maraschino cherries as well.

Palate

Spicy sweet goodness followed by a herbal chalky texture with spearmint and freshly ground coffee. Toasted marshmallows, orange marmalade on hot porridge and ripe banana skin create warmth and bitterness.

Finish

A bitter spice carries through the palate but falls short on finish otherwise.

Comment

A grain that would give a rye whisky a run for its money.
