Nose
Smoky bacon crisps, Chinese fried pork with fruity barbeque sauce, fresh strawberry and sweet balsamic. Candied orange and honeycomb. Honey-roasted peanuts with paprika. Vanilla and subtle cream coffee.
Palate
Smoked fruits and nuts: apricot, red apple and cashew. Candied ginger and orange. Smoked nuts. Quince jelly and maple syrup on crispy bacon.
Finish
Long. Fades on smoked streaky bacon, cashew and sweet red apple with tannins.
Comment
Rather savoury. Very delicious.
