Nose

Some sherry-like dried fruit notes, with some berries and spice too. There's smoke too with a little oaty cereal character.

Palate

Very sweet initially, with vanilla and treacle toffee, with cinnamon spice and dryness coming through later. Some berry fruit is in the delivery too.

Finish

A thread of smoke.

Another successful finish where the cask input seemed to work with the spirit.
