Nose
Light and airy. Lemon sorbet, sherbet, meringue, wet chalk, a sea breeze. Floral liners that your grandma puts in oak drawers.
Palate
All the American Oak up front – whipped cream with vanilla, lemon oils, cardamom, sawdust and funky, sticky hops. Decent medium weight.
Finish
A not unpleasant soapy texture, a zippy sensation on the middle of the tongue. The length is rather short, with final flavours of hops and barbecue rub.
Comment
I really enjoyed the flavour journey, but the length just wasn’t there.
