Tasting Notes

Taster

Nose: A glossy kind of nose with lots of mature waxiness, redcurrant jelly, mulberry jam and cob nuts. Then comes fig rolls, cigar boxes and a touch\rof laurel. Hint of smoke. Complex.

Palate: Rounded with a fascinating interplay between custard, muscovado sugar,\rand an earthy undertow. This is given a lift by mint and lemon thyme.

Finish: Milk chocolate and dried kumquat.

Comment: Complex and fascinating. Snap it up.

Taster

Nose: Big and very bold. Tobacco leaves, over ripe bananas, burnt sugar and a whiff of smoke. Develops over time showing maturity.

Palate: Sweet spicy edge which coats the whole mouth. A subtle citrus note mixed with a real autumnal note (drying leaves, fresh ploughed fields, almost potatoes).

Finish: Juicy,long and restorative.

Comment: Get a bottle of this and the evenings are looking long and luxurious no\rmatter the weather.
