Nose

A warming and rich whiskey with notes of orange zest, honey, heather, and toasted almonds, alongside an oiliness like rapeseed oil.

Palate

There’s an earthy smoke here that could be more from the cask, haystacks, and hazelnuts. There’s a rounded spice like cinnamon and a barley richness.

Finish

Long finish with a nice savoury sweet, nutty end.

Comment

Needs time in the glass but it is definitely interesting, and makes me want to go back for another sip.
