Nose

Gingerbread dough, black tea kombucha, manuka honey and subtle notes of used coffee grounds. Tamarind caramel chews and a whiff of smoky bacon crisps.

Palate

Medium bodied. Hot at first, but subsides quickly. Coffee cream chocolates with salted caramel and some prickly ginger zing. Honey on burnt toast, a touch of cola and pistachio.

Finish

Medium. The cola note turns to underripe pear.

Comment

Some solid flavours here, but it’s still a touch too boisterous for me.
