Nose
Huge, complex and mature. Coal smoke mixed with oil/candle wax and wet leaves in a churchyard by the sea. A feral edge is tempered by sweet, almost luscious fruits. The wood is playing a supporting role.
Palate
Big, slow and oily. Old orange, pipe tobacco and quince. The citric lift\rbalances the briny notes. Muscular.
Finish
Long, rich and smokily fat, seal blubber on an oil stove?
