Tasting Notes

Nose

Vibrant and floral with hints of cereal, rose petals, boiled sweets and coffee laced peat. Darkens with time as malt and treacle appear. Late hints of earth/dunnage and salt.

Palate

Opens with soft, crumbly coffeed peat, vanilla and barley. Darkens as the treacle, malt and tar come through on the middle. Subtly coastal with a lovely degree of peat. \n

Finish

Seriously long and treacly with malt, boiled sweets, manure, rose petals and salt. \n

Comment

Now, that is an impressive finish! Robust, malty and full of character.
