Nose

Dark amber. Quite dry and woody with hints of hickory, candied fruit and some lemony rye zestiness.

Palate

Sweet smouldering hickory notes to start. Some burnt sugar/treacle mid-palate before a bite of rye freshens it up-fairly high wood.

Finish

Ripe, full with some smoked tea. Wood.

A little woody and young.
