Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Nose: Smoky and mossy with a real earthiness and a little hint of brackish water. Dry fern. With water bold and smoky. Wet kilt.
Palate: Slow start then a big hit in the middle of the tongue offering sweetness. The oak moss returns. Good grip. Rich tea biscuits and a little flour.
Finish: Good length moving into smoke and tweed.
Comment: All on the end but worth the wait.
Nose: Peaty.Creosote. Farm yard. Straw. Smoke. Briny. Wet moss, fern. Green olive. Lemon posset. With water, grassy notes.
Palate: Smooth at start with a thick oily feel; But dries up suddenly on spices and mineral notes. Slightly grippy like sand paper.
Finish: Dry, quickly fading. Salty aftertaste.
Comment: Certainly not as smooth as a pebble. Rich aromatic profile. Atmospheric and uplifting.
