Nose

Wood and coal ashes in the hearth. Capsicum and eucalyptus. Some vanilla pod and pear drop. Burnt toast. Quince jelly. With time, ripe strawberry notes.

Palate

Very light. Wood smoke, pear drop, and instant coffee with condensed milk. Some allspice. Meringue with blackberries.

Finish

Long and ashy, with digestive biscuit.

Comment

A pleasantly smoky, somewhat old-school blended malt.
