Tasting Notes

Nose

An interesting nose: red fruits, (redcurrant, raspberry) then sultana and other dried fruit, struck matches, rubber, mushroom, oak.

Palate

Sweet and malty to start. Cherry and sultana cake with sloe, black fruits and raisin.

Finish

A little hard.

Comment

The nose suggests this was in sherry before being in Port. Has Glenrothes character but a bit dry.
