Tasting Notes

Nose

Slightly abrasive. Some high estery/glue like notes. Immature. Water shows a smoky edge. Damp grass.

Palate

Better than the nose with a sweet centre. Orange zest. Rum takes charge from the middle onwards.

Finish

Smooths into tropical fruits.

Comment

The rum acting as a cover for what you suspect is a whisky which suffered from being in a tired cask.
