Tasting Notes

Nose

Youthful, pungent and cardboardy with some earthy peat, lemon barley and brine. With time hints of sweet white fruit appears to attempt to add balance.

Palate

A little more barley and caramel oak, which to a certain extent covers the ‘distillery character,’ i.e. the cardboard notes! A touch of earthy peat and brine but the sweet barley notes are developing.\n

Finish

An enjoyable finish. Long with lingering sweet barley and slightly medicinal peat.\n

Comment

Instantly recognisable! I will say this has a bit more balancing sweetness than is the norm.
