Nose

At first there’s a note of smoked meat — like a smoked ham or something done over hickory chips on the barbecue. There’s a bit of vanilla sugar to follow alongside warm tractor tyres.

Palate

Boldly smoky, this one, with lots of nice sweetness lingering in the background. It’s that smoke that gets into your clothes after a day around the fire.

Finish

Medium length with the smoke sticking around long after the sip finishes.
