Nose
Boot leather, polished wood, and California raisins. Roasted chestnut. Dark brown sugar, leaning into molasses. Medjool date, ginger cake, and caramel milk chocolate bar.
Palate
Medium-full. A warm spiciness of black pepper, allspice, and clove. Hints of liquorice all sorts and rosemary. Cocoa powder, raspberry coulis, and dried cherry. Rye cracker and a hint of coarse Ardennes pâté.
Finish
Long. Black Forest gateau with pleasant tannins and woody spice.
