Nose: Overripe banana. Peanut butter and strawberry jam on toast. Hints of peach and mango purée, and fromage frais. Oatmeal with coconut milk and chia seeds. Butter caramels, digestive biscuit, and chocolate-coated honeycomb.
Palate: Full. Mango, papaya, cantaloupe, toasted coconut, yoghurt, and overnight oats. Hints of fruit cake, blackcurrant coulis, stem ginger, and toffee.
Finish: Long. Fruit gives way to spicy oak and a hint of chilled sweet tea. A menthol-herbal note right at the end.
Comment: Rich, fruity, and indulgent.
Nose: Barley bread, porridge with treacle, oud, patchouli, and black bean sauce.
Palate: Medium. An intriguing mix of fruit and savoury, spicy notes. Mandarin segments, red apple, and a yeasty, saline note. Basil and pine nuts. Jackfruit, too.
Finish: Long, on the salty and jackfruit notes.
Comment: Unusual, but well balanced and tasty.
