Age: 12 Years Old
Style: Single Malt
Delicate intertwining of honey and butterscotch with a bite of dry oak. Redeemed, rather unusually, by a sprinkling of crushed rose petals.
A thin, insipid, start then a roar of spice, malt and oak in one mad rush.
Bitter at first then softening oak.
Oops. Nothing like the lovely dram at this age I normally come across. Pleasant enough, but too thin and lacklustre to be true.
