Nose
Earthy, musty. Pine sap. Joiner workshop. Slightly prickly. Opens on creamier notes. Chocolate fudge. Hint of citrus fruit. Water brings out floral notes.
Palate
Smooth at start but dries up on ginger and chilli. The spicy tanginess is quite numbing.
Finish
Dry, spicy with a leaf note.
Comment
The nose has got some complexity but the palate is overwhelmed and overdried by spices. It needs water.
