Nose
Intense. Oaky. Polished floor. Bee wax. Bread dough. Develops on nutty notes. An interesting complexity. Sultanas and almonds.
Palate
Big, muscular, sharp. Spices explode like fireworks. All in a tight oak frame.
Finish
Dry, spicy. Ginger, nutmeg. Dry almonds in the back.
Comment
An assertive character. A complex nose, a less enticing palate though. But water cuts the edge and makes it conversational. Needs time to 'relax'
