Nose
Intense. Rich oak. Thick cut marmalade. Candied chestnuts. Bittersweet chocolate.
Palate
Crisp and grippy. So oaky. As if you were chewing wood chips. Very bitter and harsh like sanding paper.
Finish
In the same tonality.
Comment
I had a suspicion at first nose. Then it seemed to open on rich aromas. But the palate unfortunately confirmed my apprehension. Can't see the point in drinking wood!
