Nose

Orange jelly cubes and plasticine. Salted caramel. Oat flapjack. Nutmeg and Conference pear. Candied orange peel and buttery shortbread. A hint of wet leaves and a whisper of bonfire smoke.

Palate

Medium. Polenta cake with orange curd and caramel sauce. Savoury herbs and smoked salmon. Tinned peach. Sugary dates, toasted almonds, and a hint of soy sauce.

Finish

Long, on orange oil and mint (both fresh, and peppermint creams).

Comment

The refreshing finish left me wanting another sip.
