A sweet, perfumed cakiness, like a Battenburg or a sweet sponge. Treacle. Sweet egginess, like a custard tart or scambled egg even. Stewed plums or stewed rhubarb.
Palate
Very sweet and then grassy.
Finish
A little burnt caramel.
Comment
Pleasant, sweet and light in character despite its deep colour.
