Tasting Notes

Nose

Oily/waxy with dried apricot, vanilla, heather, wild herbs and mink oil. A touch of light peatiness. With water it louches like absinthe. Beautiful, but slightly alarming.

Palate

Medium-bodied, but a real mouthfiller which coats and clings to the palate. There's smoke, that lovely oiliness and a fruity sweetness. Ripe, rich.

Finish

Dry, peppery and long.
