Tasting Notes

Nose

Oaky. Dark wood, walnut stain. Dunnage warehouse. Prune. Dates.

Palate

Crisp, dry. As the nose let expect, oak dominates. Bittersweet. A sherry character. Lots of dried fruit. Spicy. A touch of chilli. Ginger and nutmeg.

Finish

Lingering. Spicy and oaky.

Comment

Deep and rich. The sherry has overwhelmed the distillery character. But a beautiful oaky expression. And a characterful profile.
