Nose

Old sherry butts! Woody, but silky. Intense, mature and dusty with dried orange, apricot and grape. Hickory, pecan, vanilla, chocolate, wood smoke.

Palate

Woody with hickory, cinnamon, ginger, soy sauce and tannins. The rich sherried fruit, liquorice, chocolate and treacle balance. Provençal herbs and heather. \n

Finish

Long, a little austere as the grain kicks in and mingles with the tannins. Superb intensity and pure espresso finish. \n
