Nose

Honeyed and mead-like alongside some hyssop and tarragon , saffron and spices. Lightly citric and quite sweet with balancing oak.

Palate

Lightly fruity with more grip and seriousness than the sweet, syrupy nose suggests. Oolong tea and apple. Just tightens a little too much on the finish where bitter oak mixes with rye.

Finish

Grippy.
