Nose

A mix of earthy and medicinal peat notes, with nori seaweed, moss, iodine, fabric plaster, wood smoke, and cigarette ash. Smoked haddock fish cake. Underneath, subtle vanilla custard.

Palate

Medium-full. Gentle sweet barbecue notes, like hickory smoke, beef brisket, and barbecue sauce, with an iodic note. Water cracker, salted peanut, and smoked cheese. Very subtle fruit cake.

Finish

Long and gently drying, on fruity barbecue sauce and bonfire ash.

An exciting palette of peaty flavours that mellow invitingly with water.
