Nose

Like rummaging through an old first aid kit — very medicinal. Given time to breathe in the glass, it opens up to more earthiness, blades of grass, and rain-soaked trees.

Palate

A definite smokiness, like grilled courgette and green pepper. Water brings out more dessert-like flavours of cheesecake and almond cookies while maintaining the smoky notes.

Finish

Has a bite to it, but is fairly short. The smoke turns gentler.
