Nose

Eucalyptus, aloe, menthol, capsicum and subtle juniper berry. Under it all is olive brine, nutty and oxidised sweet vermouth and shortbread biscuit. Pear drop, white grape and cucumber.

Palate

Medium-light body. Delicately medicinal (iodine), with Kalamata olive and herbal notes of oregano and thyme. Burnt sourdough, subtle celery, under-ripe pear and cigarette smoke, too.

Finish

Short. Evaporates on the tongue, leaving a menthol cigarette note.

As bracing as the Islay wind and just as invigorating.
