Nose

Astringent herbal rye with hints of manure, treacle, and juicy orange with corn oil beneath. Sweet violets, walnut shell, marzipan oak and coffeed spice.

Palate

Soft and juicy with more noticeable toasty oak and treacle but the herbal rye scythes through. Plenty of body and richness with hints of coffee, chocolate and almost salty notes. \n

Finish

Mouth-watering, vibrant and herbal with a little eau-de-vie indicating youth. Lovely dark chocolate and dried plumy fruit after-taste. \n

Comment

Now that has some serious character and an almost Knob Creek-like hardness.
