Taster

Nose: Strong aromas of toffee popcorn, flat cola and red cherries. A classic Bourbon nose that is very inviting indeed. It isn’t too powerful, which is nice.\n

Palate: A great start to the palate; the toffee popcorn coming to life, hints of cigar smoke and aged leather. The spices take time to appear but they are well integrated.\n

Finish: Some bitterness and spice (huge clove note), suggesting some rye content to \nthis beauty. \n

Comment: A real beauty of a product; well balanced sweetness and spices. Gets my presidential vote.

Taster

Nose: Astringent herbal rye with hints of manure, treacle, and juicy orange with corn oil beneath. Sweet violets, walnut shell, marzipan oak and coffeed spice.

Palate: Soft and juicy with more noticeable toasty oak and treacle but the herbal rye scythes through. Plenty of body and richness with hints of coffee, chocolate and almost salty notes. \n

Finish: Mouth-watering, vibrant and herbal with a little eau-de-vie indicating youth. Lovely dark chocolate and dried plumy fruit after-taste. \n

Comment: Now that has some serious character and an almost Knob Creek-like hardness.
