Nose

So much fruit, almost a wine-like quality here. Apples, like you find in Calvados, ripe pears, and warm strawberries. A touch of nutmeg, alongside marzipan.

Palate

Blackcurrant, figs, melon, and even passion fruit. With water, it softens considerably, but the darker fruits stick around alongside some violet and ginger.

Finish

Lengthy, with a bit of bitterness developing along the back of palate.

A beautiful, elegant whisky, with really complex notes.
