Nose

Softly malty with lovely fresh fruits wafting from the glass: think strawberries and maybe some raspberries and cream. A touch of warm pears and caramel follows — very inviting.

Palate

Robust and malty, with the fruit following mid-palate. Caramel-covered apples. A touch of wood tannin and spice nearing the end.

Finish

Lengthy, with a burst of spice at the front of the palate.
