Nose
Initial hit of fruitiness, in particular baked pears and apples. A slight hint of smoke, followed by cooling vanilla ice cream and bubblegum.
Palate
Those same fruity notes persist, in particular sour apples. Pleasant cherry notes. A little water reveals milk chocolate, strawberries and cream, and vanilla.
Finish
Medium in length, and relatively smooth considering the high ABV.
Comment
A very well-made and sippable whisky — don’t let the high ABV put you off.
