Nose

Dark, deep, full and fungal with balsamic notes, some treacle and a\rdense cocoa nib effect alongside dried fruits, tar, dubbin and plum jam.

Palate

Again balsamic, but sweet with a whiff of mothballs, then fruit paste. Best\rneat. Dying embers and drying blood.

Finish

Black cherry. Bitter.

Comment

Big cask influence on a pretty light whisky. Interesting, but only for\rsherry nuts.
