Nose

Classic Speyside notes here — lots of baked apples, tinned pears, some freshly cut hay, and a bit of toffee to finish.

Palate

A surprise on the palate — much brighter and fruitier than expected. There’s really floral apples, some tinned pineapple, then a nice spot of caramel flan.

Finish

A touch of dusty SweetTart candies to finish alongside a drying bitterness.

Comment

Very approachable and classic whisky with great structure.
