Nose
Lots of forest fruits: brambles and blueberries, even some raspberries. Golden Syrup and sponge, quite sweet.
Palate
Surprisingly floral, notes of dusty lavender poke out from the toffee sweetness. There’s some washing powder and a bar of Johnson’s Baby Soap.
Finish
Medium length with that floral note sticking to the front.
Comment
I was intrigued by the fruity nose but the floral note on the palate wasn’t for me. I expect a lot of people will love this style, however, as it can be divisive.
