Nose

Some classic notes of dried fruits, at the lighter end of the scale: apricots, sultanas, raisins, with pouring honey. Slight meatiness: boiled ham. Fanta.

Palate

Juicy and mouth-watering, repeating those classic dried fruits. Baked apples in syrup, with some pleasing maltiness. Green olives.

Finish

Medium length, oily notes with apricots, oranges, nutmeg and ginger. Warming.

Comment

A very sensible, conservative whisky, but charming indeed.
