Nose

Old books, that slightly dusty mellow smell, like walking into a second-hand book shop. Then moves towards the more savoury end of things with chive dumplings and soy sauce. All wrapped up with a little heat and some serious fruitiness.

Palate

Sweet and honeyed. Then those serious fruit notes take over – strawberries, mango, passionfruit.

Finish

Long and sweet – clotted cream and strawberry jam.

Really sweet. Feels like you are waiting for a spice kick but it just keeps delivering sweetness.
