Nose
Really vibrant at first, plenty of fruit going on here. Tinned pineapple and coconut, actually pretty much a liquid fruit salad. Also a sharp tang of grapefruit. Aromas of fresh mown grass and day old cut barley stubble.
Palate
That malt hint turns more to Ovaltine, really creamy with hints of chocolate and fresh vanilla pods. Chewy caramel. A hit of citrus zest as well. Then you get fruity notes.
Finish
Vibrant and long, with plenty of fruit and oak notes.
Comment
A delightful Speysider, just right for the summer months.
