Nose

Aslight musty, earthy note, and some sooty smoke, with a sweetness like sugared almond. With water, a hint of wet tweed and smouldering fires.

Palate

Gentle start, then a spicy, almost ginger-beer note pings it into life, then comes fruit, which softens and dies.

Finish

Cigar ash.

Good energy; the old, slight mustiness on the nose is nowhere to be seen on the palate.
