ABV 40%
Again another nicely balanced whisky, great play between smoke, fruit and sweetness.

Nose: Woodland in the first frost, leaf mulch and a hint of pine needles. Rum and raisin ice cream, blackberry compote. A gentle smokiness is here tempered with tablet.
Palate: A big punch of spice, chilli pineapple, allspice, liquorice root and cinnamon. Fresh tropical fruit salad, with that sugery, honey water. Almost a Parma Violet note too.
Finish: Long and lingering, full of those juicy fruits.
Comment: Again another nicely balanced whisky, great play between smoke, fruit and sweetness.
Score: 8.8
Taster
Nose: Autumnal notes, creamy toffee fudge, apples and hot toddies. Hints of Cola ice cream, liquorice and juicy bramble pie.
Palate: Wham bam thank you ma’am. What a burst of spices… star anise, cinnamon and cloves. Freshly baked apple and bramble pie with custard.
Finish: A warm buttery texture that doesn’t overpower the light fruity tones.
Comment: Taste definitely matches up to your expectations – complex without being too in your face.
Score: 8.9
