Nose

Slight menthol note to start with, then wood polish, Luxardo cherries, and cigarettes. A members club in the early 2000s before smoking was banned.

Palate

More classic bourbon notes come through — some nice cherries, dark liquorice, fairly resinous, with a good kick of heat and wood tannin that sticks to all parts of the mouth.

Finish

Lots of lasting cherry lolly notes across the whole palate and a menthol note.

Comment

A bold and bracing bourbon that needs some slow sipping.
