Nose

Bourbon-like to begin with: banana bread, cherry pie, and ginger beer. It’s quite sweet, with notes of vanilla bean and Liquorice Allsorts.

Palate

Lots of pastry notes going on here: bostock and canelé, before a bitterness comes through in the form of walnuts, orange bitters, then sultanas and nuts.

Finish

Short with quite a lot of spice — slightly lacking.

Comment

The palate was slightly dominated by wood spice.
