Nose

Intense, fragrant. Dried rose, a touch of lavender. An oily note, close to fish oil. Quite unusual. Then some fresh almonds. Opening on fruit. Pear drop. Touch of lemon.\r

Palate

Dry and crisp. Some oak grip. Cooked apples. A touch of liquorice. Drying with a little spice.

Finish

Dry, spicy (ginger), astringent.

Comment

The nose is floral to start with then shifting to that fish oil note which disappears at times. The palate is completely different, certainly wood driven.
